Blevins High School has received an Outstanding Educational Performance Award from the Office for Education Policy in recognition of the EOC Literacy exam scores. The test was taken in March 2010 by all Arkansas high school juniors. The juniors at Blevins scored 79% proficient; this score ranked the Blevins School 15th in the entire state of literacy and 1st in the Southwest Region of the state. Also, Blevins scored 2nd in the state in Most improved in EOC Literacy Achievement from 2009 to 2010. The Blevins Juniors scored 79% proficient and advanced for an increase of 37%.
